When I attempt to download the file, I don’t see an option to open with iTunes®. What should I do?
You can also download the file directly to your desktop, then drag the book file into an open iTunes window.
The file seems to be taking a while to download. Is something wrong?
Not at all. Because our book features a wealth of interactive tools and videos, it is a large file and may take some time to download. In addition, if you haven’t synced your iPad® recently, other data (photos, apps, etc.) is likely being synced simultaneously.
I tried syncing, but the book is not showing up on my iPad. What went wrong?
You may not have properly enabled the “Sync Books” function in your iTunes account. Open iTunes, then select your iPad (under Devices in the left menu). Click on the Books tab, then check “Sync Books” and “All Books.” Click the “Apply” button in the lower right corner.
My download is complete, but I can’t find my book. Where is it?
To view our eBook, open the iBooks® app. “The Safety Is In the Fabric” will appear on your bookshelf. Tap the book cover to launch.
I don’t have an iPad. Can I view the book on another tablet or e-reader?
